I will start off by saying that I’m not extremely familiar with either, especially Dart. However, given my understanding, Google is aiming these two at very different markets. Go is aimed at being run on servers while Dart was originally created as a JavaScript replacement and is now being pushed into mobile as well as front-end with the Flutter project. I guess you can write backend using Dart, but I haven’t seen much on people trying to do so.
