Thanks for the post. I would note that Tesla is one of the exceptions working toward private owners of autonomous cars. Their autopilot only works on highways right now, but it works quite well in that context. They are also working hard to get their cars to level 5 and have videos showing test vehicles doing level 5 driving.

Personally, I think that the robotaxi approach is the way to go in the long run. However, if you spend a lot of your commute on highways and you want a car that can do much of the driving for you today, you really should look at a Tesla. Even better, when they get to level 5 support you will automatically gain that functionality.
